Review: Me Before You

Me Before You Me Before You by Jojo Moyes
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

You only get one life. It's actually your duty to live it as fully as possible.

5 BIG HEARTBREAKINGLY BEAUTIFUL STARS.

I don't even know how to properly review this book. I've just finished and I'm an absolute mess...just read it. Everyone has got to read this book. Trust me on this one, and just pick it up

It's about this twenty six year old named Louisa who doesn't really know much of what she wants to do with her life and she gets fired from her job but she still feels this pressure that she needs to help support her family. Then she gets offered to be a caretaker for a man named Will who was in a motorcycle accident and is now stuck in a wheelchair, paralyzed from the chest down. It's about these two very different people learning how to live and coming together in a love story that will touch and break your heart in the best way.

Some mistakes..just have greater consequences than others. But you don't have to let the result of one mistake be the thing that defines you. You, Clark, have the choice not to let that happen.

IM STILL CRYING

I absolutely LOVED this book. I fell in love with Will and my heart reached out to him. It really did open my eyes to some issues that I wasn't well aware of. We follow Louisa who is thrusted into this world of caretaking and how no idea how to do it. I loved going through that journey and learning with her. Louisa was funny, so easy to relate to, and I adored her. I loved how though this book deals with multiple heavy issues, it wasn't all about that. There were so many cute and sweet moments..so many laughs and of course a lot of tears.

All I can say is you make me..you make me into someone I couldn't even imagine. You make me happy, even when you're awful. I would rather be with you-even the you that you seem to think is diminished-than with anyone else in the world.

*cries into a puddle*

Theirs a huge family aspect too. With the Traynors and Louisa's family. Theirs a really big part of the book that is focused on that perfect love-hate sister relationship. I could relate to everything so much. I honestly just have wonderful things to say about this book. Their were choices made at the very end that I didn't agree on and wish didn't happen, but it made the story that much more powerful in the end. This is definitely one that will stay with you for a long time after the stories finished...

I will never ever regret the things I've done. Because most days, all you have are places in your memory that you can go to.

Yes this book will make you cry, but the kind of crying that is so worth it. I'm such a mess but I'm so excited to see the movie. The trailer is the book and it's going to be wonderful to see Louisa and Will's love story translated to film.

Now seriously, go read this if you haven't...*passes tissue box* then we can cry together as we impatiently count the days till we get to see the movie.

Push yourself. Don't settle.Just live well. Just live.

FOREVER CRYING
